Physical GOLD is nowhere to be found.
From Richard Russell, and I have to say I’m finding the same situation.
Notes and Quotes — I just talked to Leon, my coins dealer for the
last 30 years. Leon tells me gold coins are available only rarely and
sporadically, and at premium prices. Krugerrands premium $60. Maple
Leafs premium $65. Swiss kilo bars (about 35 ounces) sometimes
available. Physical gold has been swept off the market. I’m not sure I
trust the price of “paper gold” (GLD). If physical gold is that
scarce, and selling for fat premiums, then what’s the story with paper
gold?
