Bundesbank sees short-term deflation risk says Steinbrueck
The Bundesbank sees the risk of ‘deflation in the short term’, German Finance Minister Peer Steinbrueck said on Wednesday.
Bundesbank chief Axel Weber participated in a meeting with German cabinet ministers earlier on Wednesday.
Steinbrueck added that he was taking the risk of inflation over the medium-term very seriously and that exit strategies had to be thought about.
